Skin Allergy Alert Testing (AAT) Policy

A skin allergy alert test is required for all clients receiving a colouring service at RAMhair.
You will require an AAT if you:
- Have never had a colour appointment with RAMhair
- It has been more than 6 months since your previous colour appointment at RAMhair
- You may need a new skin test if you are having a total change or colour/colour brand
​
A valid skin test will highlight risk of an allergy response to a hair colourant, therefore in line with manufacturer guidelines we will not proceed with any colour service if a skin test has not been performed.

A skin test must be performed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment at a RAMhair salon.

Deposit Policy
​
A deposit is required on all services to book your appointment.
​
This applies to both online and in-salon bookings. The deposit is to secure your booking and is part payment towards your appointment at RAMhair.
​
Should you need to amend your booking please refer to our cancellation policy. You are entitled to a refund of your deposit if the change is made more than 48 hours before the appointment.
​
If you cancel with less than 48 hours prior to appointment then the deposit is non-refundable, and you may incur charges as set out in our cancellation policy.

Deposits are made via our secure PhorestPay system. Refunds are issued via the same payment method only.

Cancellation Policy
​
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or amend your appointment.
​
If the unexpected happens and you need to cancel your appointment, please allow us as much time as possible as last minute cancellations or 'no-show' appointments can create serious issues for our business.
​
If less than 48 hours notice is given to cancel an appointment, please be aware that you will forfeit your booking deposit, and you may incur an additional charge to cover the cost of the cancelled appointment.
​
We also reserve the right to charge a fee to cover the cost of a 'no-show' appointment, up to the value of the missed appointment.
If frequent last minute cancellations or no-show appointments occur then we may ask you to leave a larger deposit up to the full value of the appointment in order to secure a booking.
